Aprilia RS 125 Lorenzo Replica
Aprilias RS125 lightweight sports bike has been completely revised for 2006 using technology from the companys successful 125cc GP machines and re-styled, after extensive wind-tunnel research, to emphasise its family resemblance to Aprilias RSV1000 Factory litre-class sport flagship, with twin halogen headlights.
The 2006 model has new 40mm inverted front forks with an RSV Factory-style forged lower triple, and a 320mm, fully floating, front disc brake with a four-piston radial mount calliper

It has an oval-section, racing silencer with riveted end plates and a catalytic converter so that it complies with Euro 2 emissions regulations.
The cast-alloy wheels are styled to resemble the crossed-spoke, forged magnesium OZ rims used on the RSV1000 Factory and anodised the same bright blue.
The RS125 also comes with a new analog/digital instrument panel from the RSV1000 with a multi-function display that includes speedometer, coolant temperature gauge and lap timer – theres even provisional for trackside optical telemetry.
The frame is made of cast aluminium alloy with cross-ribbing reinforcement and the box-section, aluminium alloy swing-arm is asymmetrical to allow the exhaust to be tucked as close as possible to the chassis, to increase ground clearance

The 2006 RS125 will be available in either classic black with red accents or pearl white as per Manuel Poggialis works Grand Prix machine, with black and red highlights.

Production ran until 2005 and was subsequently dropped Tuono 1999 to 2005 The RS125 Tuono was introduced in 1999 as a semi naked version of the RS125. The most notable features are the angular fairings, two headlight units, digital gauge and multispoke rims. RS125 2006 onwards The RS125 was given completely new fairing styling similar to the RSVR. The lip on the headlight unit is increased in size.RS125 1999 to 2005 The RS125 is revised again in 1999 with more rounder and bulbous fairings, five spoke rims and a single air duct on the right hand side. A digital gauge is added in place of the temperature gauge. The headlight unit is rounded and the lip is introduced to the top centre. The front air intakes are integrated into the front upper portion of the middle fairing. The RS retains a lot of the appearances of the previous RS but there are some notable differences.
RS125 1996 to 1998 The RS125 is revised and the R suffix is dropped. It has the distinctive features of having an angular tail section and swept front fairing, square cut headlight unit, three spoke rims, air scoops on the upper front middle fairing, Electric starter or kick start on the left hand side and analogue gauges. Aprilia introduced the first RS125 in 1992.

Buell launches first production bike - 175bhp EBR 1190RS
Buell has announced its return to motorcycle production with the launch of its first production model as an independent manufacturer.
A year after being cut-off by parent company Harley-Davidson, Erik Buell Racing has launched the 175bhp EBR 1190RS.
Powered by a liquid-cooled V-Twin 1190cc engine, the Buell is fully cloaked in carbon fibre to provide significant weight reductions and provide a stealthy black finish.
The bike features Ohlins USD forks that are completely adjustable and in order to maximize grip while cornering and provide plenty of feel, the 1190RS is fitted with Ohlins’ TTX coil over monoshock.
Unfortunately, the sporting pedigree of the first Erik Buell Racing model does come at a price, with the bike going on sale for around $40,000 (£24,775). The carbon fibre package adds a further $4,000 to that price tag.
