Yamaha working on the cheapest bike

Yamaha with its FZ series bikes has conquered the heart of many bikers. R1, R6 are some of their other products in India. Even though yamaha is not firm in lower displacement bikes they are planning on cheapest bike. As the Nano from Tata, Yamaha is trying to grow their sales in lower displacement and also the worlds lowest priced bike tag.
“We have so far done well with our premium motorcycles in India and now we think is the time to address a bigger part of the market where volumes are high,” Hiroyuki Suzuki, chief executive of India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd., said in a recent interview.
and he also added
“Just about one in every 25 people in India owns a two-wheeler,” Mr. Suzuki said. “There is a huge scope to attract more buyers with a fuel-efficient product that is priced reasonably.”
At present the cheapest bike from Yamaha is crux which is around Rs.40,000. We have to wait and see the pricing, name, technical specifications
