Polaris Recalls Indian for Body Control Module Defect
If the headlight switch is slowly moved from one position to another (high beam to low beam or low beam to high beam), both beams may be on momentarily and the BCM interprets this as an overload condition.
The number of units affected is 699.

110th Indian Motorcycle Anniversary
INDIAN is the first motorcycle company that was standing on the American mainland. This big bike company was founded in 1901 and has spawned several models that have become icons of the industry and successfully emerged as the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world.
The manufacturer based in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States is holding 110-year anniversary celebration of the Indians held on May 14, 2011 at the Indian Motorcycle dealership in Los Angeles, Harbor City.
In the celebration was held exhibitions of antique motorcycles, food supplier trucks, surprise guest, and displays lined Indian model 2011 which included a Classic, Dark Horse, Bomber, Roadmaster and Vintage.
Indian is the main competitor of Harley-Davidson for 52 years, ie since 1901 to 1953. After a vacuum long enough, the Indians again present in 2006 that was acquired by Polaris Industries Inc., a company that manufactures cars and touring motorcycles, Victory.
